One league I should win handily, the other I have OBJ + 13 vs Gurley. Probably gonna be close.

I also kinda screwed myself in that league by sitting Mack for Michel and then I sat Thielen for Hardman since my opponent had Mahomes.  Luckily that one didn't hurt as bad.  But I also had Pollard (not like he was a viable start) & MVS sitting on my bench.  so 4 players w/ 14+ points.

Chiefs d looked pretty great against Ravens so far.

I can see the Chiefs taking this one being at home.  Reid isn't going to step off the gas I'm assuming and let the Ravens play with them.

That said, let's have a high scoring game so that I can win my fantasy games!

You still have absolutely nothing to back that up with.

I just gave you multiple reasons.

Also important to note: Brees and Wlson have each already won a Super Bowl, so that ultimate goal is accomplished, it is not for Mahomes. And when you're talking about housing, you don't have to be a realtor to understand that the houses they live in cost more than the average (especially Brees'), Mahomes' will to of course, but in general there's going to be a far bigger price increase between a normal and nice house in New Orleans and Seattle compared to KC, which is much more neighorhood like and less big city like.

Yes, Brady's reputation of being "the only humble guy to help his team" is in jeopardy, but it's more than possible for other QB's to follow suit. Especially for one's that are getting a new sponsorship practically every month and don't really have to take care of anyone else but themselves. I am not saying it's going to happen. But Mahomes is DEFINITELY in a situation currently where that decision would be easier to make than for most players in the same spot.

Using housing and kids costs for these dudes is pretty silly.  All of them can afford to live where they live for tons less.  Thinking getting big money has to do with just that is beyond silly.

Brees' current contract is around Brady level, but the ones previous to this one weren't.

You have this pie in the sky view on Chiefs all the time.

I believe the term you're looking for is "optomism".

     It's not reality.

Does it have to be? Can I not be optimistic that I could direct and write movies someday? Even though it isn't a reality? Saying no because it hasn't happened yet seems like a pretty sad way to live.

Most of us are trying to have conversations on how people actually behave and act and you come in with assumptions with 'optomism'.  And then you try to back up those statements with 'facts'.  That's not having a debate in reality.

If you wanted to say 'I hope he doesn't take a huge contract because that will be great for the team' then fine.  But you come in with stats on how much it costs to live and raise kids in different cities, when that argument is totally null and void.  None of these guys will need to worry about cost of living and raising kids. They are all making tons of cash.
