Yeah, 6 games is plenty, I feel like he learned his lesson. This is also his first incident.

This offseason sure feels like it's shaping up to be absolutely crazy. Brady, Rivers, Brees, Stafford and Dalton could all be on the move, and that's literally just one position. Who would have thought Brady would ever be somewhere besides the Patriots and Brees somewhere besides the Saints? I'm excited.

Chris Harris Jr. has been retweeting videos and articles that talk about him being a good fit for the Chiefs, and a bunch of NFL executives think he'll end up there as well apparently. That's far from any proof that he actually will of course, I don't even know if the Chiefs can afford him in the first place. but it sure seems like that's where he wants to go. He went to college at KU so it makes sense.

Been thinking about it, and as much as I would hate to do it, I feel like trading Chris Jones would be for the best. DT isn't the most important position in the world, we could get a TON back for him, high draft picks, etc., and it would free up a lot of cap space, making it way easier to sign/keep players year to year after Mahomes' presumed giant deal. If we are going to establish a dynasty I feel like that would help better than keeping/signing him. Thoughts?

Thought Chris Jones was an UFA?

We could tag and trade, same as Veach did with Ford.

Fair enough I suppose.  New team would need to work out a contract obviously.  Guess depends if Jones thinks there is a bigger market out there for him.  I don't think you get a ton back for Jones in a tag and trade though as Guru seems to think.  Ford was a 2nd round pick, which seems like what Jones would get.

Chris Jones is significantly better than Dee Ford. This is the guy that recorded a sack in 11 straight games, an NFL record. And according to reports teams are "lining up" to shoot their shot. 1st rounds picks will be involved for sure if they do decide to trade him, I'm sure of it.

I think it’s kinda safe to say mahomes is the best football player in the world at this moment

Definitely the best all around player

     ????

Pretty clear if you ask me?

All-around player? All around qb sure

     All. Around. Player.

     Yes and that is incorrect

qb is obviously the most important position, but even if not accounting for that he has a very easy argument for top player period.  difference between someone like aaron Donald and the 2nd best DT is around the same gap as mahomes and the 2nd best qb

Nah I disagree. Difference between Donald and the 2nd best DT is much bigger

     This ^

Lol what, The distance between Mahomes and the next QB isnt that far. Donald > every other dline player is kinda big. Only one that are somewhere at his level Watt on his decline, Mack and maybe TJ watt/chandler jones (last 3 mentioned are pure passrushers).

Eh, I disagree with that. No bias, but no one is or has ever done what Mahomes is doing accomplishments wise. Plus while he's the best QB in football, there is a debate for who is behind him in 2nd. Which essentially means he is the clear #1. On the flip side, the gap between Donald and 2nd place is significant, but not as big. You completely forgot about Chris Jones and Fletcher Cox, who are complete game wreckers. Jones was a giant reason why the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, two bat downs and a deflection. A sack or two may have given him MVP honors. And Fletcher Cox has been on the DT podium for forever. Jones also owns the all-time record of any position for most consecutive games with a sack. They're a step below Donald, but just a step.

This is probably the second happiest day of Colton's life, the first being the original time this deal was released

Can't be that high, you have to stick the Chiefs Super Bowl win in there somewhere. Top five for sure though.

Ohio medical board committee says Browns, Bengals fandom not enough for medical marijuana

"Being a fan of the NFL's franchises in Cincinnati and Cleveland does not meet the condition requirements to purchase medical marijuana, an Ohio medical board committee has ruled.”

If that can’t get u a card, nothing else should

So true. I remember in CA someone said “it hurts when I wear high heels” and got approved. Cmon, this is wayyy worse.

There's not a whole lot of players that can do more than two things (throw and run) well, and Taysom Hill is pretty much the best we have rn in terms of a swiss army knife who can do it all. That being said, I do think that players should be judged based on their position alone, "all around" is kind of a sketchy way to rank. If that was the case, then #1 would be Taysom Hill, no doubt. But nobody would say he's the best QB in the league, best RB in the league, or best WR in the league. He's just simply good at everything. But that doesn't make him the best player in the NFL.

Well yeah, that’s my point. There is a distinction.

Yeah, exactly. I didn't read everything tbh, saw your comment just now. I agree with you that Mahomes is the best player in the NFL atm. He's certainly the face of it if anything. I mean, the guy is going to go into next season having not lost since November. Hence why I think he'll be #1 on the list.

Holy crap dude! Freaking amazing! 👊🏼

I'm so ashamed, bro. lol What happened to that Cowboys loyalty?

Cowboys fan for life brotha. However, once my team was out it’s natural for me to root for the hometown team. I’ve lived in Springfield, Missouri my whole life. This is just showing support temporarily  for the home team. I’ll get my cowboys art back soon haha

Springfield, nice! That's bottom left of the state, I grew up in the top right lol.

     Nice man! Hannibal?

Ooh, close. LaGrange. Very, and I mean very small town.

Haha as are most in Missouri lol

Pretty much lol. 1.86 miles in size, 905 people. Right up alongside the Mississippi River, which was awesome except for the one time it flooded. Great little town, always nice to go back and visit when we get the chance.

905 people wow that is a small town haha

     I wasn't exaggerating when I used two "very's" lol.

Same thing with Tom except he's better obviously, but his wrs weren’t good maybe in a place with them he’d do good? He got carried by defense this year but maybe that’s a big factor on what was around him and I can agree with that with what wentz had

I put very little blame on Brady. That offense was so bad. The OL was injured, running game didnt exist, and they had the worst receiving group.

You talk a lot about how Wentz should get a pass because of his receivers. I agree. Brady had the exact same situation though. Patriots led the league in drops. At least Wentz had Ertz.

The top 3 receivers on the Patriots in 2019 (according to PFF) was AB with an 86.9 rating(he played one game), James White with an 85.3 rating(he is a RB), and Elandon Roberts with an 80.2 rating(he is a LB they turned into a FB at the end of the year). No one else had a higher grade than 75.

I'd give it like, 75% of the blame to his offense and 25% to Brady. Maybe 80/20. He clearly didn't trust his receivers, which is big in terms of communication and chemistry. And he clearly didn't trust his o-line very much as well because of the injuries, although let's be honest, they gave up the 5th least sacks in the league, which isn't bad at all.

But aside from that there were various other times where Brady had all the time in the world in the pocket, had a receiver or receivers open, and just threw a duck. He still surveys the field well enough, and he's seen basically every defensive formation ever at this point in his career. But those are the moments when you realize that he's 42 and is far from what he used to be. His body is going to force him to retire before his brain wants to.

Yea he’s wrs weren’t that good aside from Julian but safe to say eagles wrs were the worst jus putting that out there..😂but I agree, Although I do wanna see cowboys take a chance on Brady tbh idc if they do good next year or not but it’ll ruin their future, I hope I’m right and Tom as lost a step but ur right his offense around him wasn’t very good

The Eagles were thiiis close to putting McCown out there at WR, which I really wanted to see.
