With Brees back in guessing Teddy will leave. Taysom might get the job now. He'd get it at 31 with 13 career passing attempts.

Yeah I can’t see Teddy staying at all

Most pressures by an interior defender since 2010, per PFF

    1. Geno Atkins - 577

    2. Ndamukong Suh - 509

    3. Aaron Donald - 481

Donald was drafted in 2014, the other two in 2010. Best player in the league and he still has a lot to give.

Johnson cost them this game. Man he had a TD in that first throw.

Neither of these QBs played like the top two.

Idk man. I say plenty of bad things about the Pats (and have made no secret of my dislike for them or parts of the Boston fanbase) and don't get mobbed by Patriots fans here. Maybe the problem is in the delivery.

Calling us a clique is just wrong tho. We all debate each other period so it makes no sense lol

I agree. You and I have gotten into it a few times, I don’t care. Doesn’t hurt my feelings any

I just call it how I see it regardless of who’s saying what lol

     Same

I mean, I have said the worst stuff here about the Pats. I’ve never felt “attacked”. Some people are just too sensitive

Forget it, there's nothing else big to talk about anyways until free agency happens. This whole conversation is ridiculous and while I am not labeling you guys as the sole issue, it is clear it is not just me here when this does NOT happen in real life. I'm out for a while.

Try reading why most of us have had problems with u here instead of constantly ignoring it and playing the victim. If u brought the same ideas to me in real life, I would say the same things I’m saying to u here, right to your face.

Yooo, I've dismissed myself from the major talking points in this thread for over a week now and through quotes I can see that we're still having the same conversations about the same folks who feel 'bullied' cuz a group of peeps don't share the same views and/or opinions.

Guru is still pretty young, so I give him some space to learn.  But the fact that he can't see the points that are constantly raised is a bit startling.

Guru: The main clique here are people who have a decent grasp on how the NFL works and when things are brought up that are bullshit, they call them on it.  Just so happens you bring up a lot of bullshit more often than others.  And when called on it, you get defensive and never back down.  Nothing wrong with saying: "Yeah I was wrong."  Try it more often.

Gordon was robbed IMO. How many times can you dunk between the legs and still win? Try something new

I still don't think people are understanding my points. This chat is definitely a clique, but man, I just must not talk like I think I do on here. I have conversations with friends, family and coworkers about this stuff nearly every day and it's way, way smoother. Friendly arguments, nothing beyond that. I don't want y'all to hate me, granted, I also don't care too much. The contrast just confuses the crap out of me.

You're in a bubble when you talk to friends and family. When you're talking to other fans, who are pretty darn knowledgeable on football, they arent gonna keep you in a bubble.

We do tet your point. We just think it's a very poor one.

Not in a bubble, definitely not in a bubble. Fans of many different teams, different walks of life, I've got family and friends that live all across the country and world. Never had a problem with any of them, and many are very knowledgeable. Heck, I have one coworker who I'm pretty sure has read every football autobiography there is. I think the difference is there's no face to face and no verbal communication. When you're behind a screen and not physically hearing someone, the whole aura of the conversation changes. Now it's clear as day that this chat is a clique that refuses to accept anyone who dare disagrees with the majority of their opinions. But that's not really the issue here. The issue is that consistently people don't understand what I'm trying to get across. It happened with Williams, it happened with Brady, it's happening now. And it's annoying. So sorry to break down the 4th wall here of sorts, talking about the atmosphere of the chat, but that's just my thoughts on the matter. It gets annoying quick when people don't seem to understand what I'm trying to say, whether that's my fault or not, and annoyance only escalates things to a higher degree.

Against my better judgement, I'm going to try this one more time.

I don't think Dak deserves more than 33 mil. I understand that it's perfectly reasonable for him to ask for more than that, because that's the way the business works. But I don't think he's worth that much, in terms of value. Just like Cousins and all the other overpaid players. To me, if someone asks for more money than they are worth, even though it makes sense to do it because of the system, it's greedy. I know I'm being picky, but I think that players simply have way too much control these days. It's like an employee asking for a new salary from their employer, because they worked harder and did more than what their current salary represents. Now, asking for more because you deserve it is perfectly okay, in most instances. Asking for more than the value of work you put out on the other hand, then refusing to work unless you get that amount, is stupid and will likely get you fired. That's dumb. Unfortunately, the NFL doesn't work like most business do in that aspect. And that's exactly my problem, the employees have way too much control.

I'll let someone else deal with your comments on this thread.

Most businesses also aren't set up so they can ship their employees halfway around the country without their permission at a moment's notice. I have no sympathy for the teams here. They've been doing what's purely in their best interests forever even if it screws over the players. Now when the player have more control that's terrible?

Yeah that’s a stupid way to look at it haha. He’s only upset because the more Dak gets, the more Mahomes gets and the Chiefs will have to be gutted
