can we move on now ? Feels good for the President to be exonerated hopefully he can now do his job

Haven’t had a chance to look into it yet, but I’ve seen the phrase “No obstruction, but does not exonerate Trump.” a few times.

What I was seeing was No coordination with the Russians, but does not exonerate regarding obstruction.

Magaveli, I hope you see this when you return from your current ban.

If you're so concerned about protecting free speech. I assume you support Colin Kaepernick exercising that free speech by taking a knee and stood against the NFL's alleged collusion to keep him out of the league.

An executive order is not an act. From everything I can find on it, it doesnt actually DO anything. public universities are already required by the first amendment to not block speech, since by their nature as a public (government funded) institution they are an extension of the government.

Go sue Twitter then. It won’t go far and you’ll get an answer to the question of if bankruptcy From court fees are worth it to try to “own the libs”. Twitter is still rampant with trash that their terms of service doesn’t prohibit.

Just tired of your maga derp bs Laughing

I saw his username was banned on twitter, so figured he must have decided to start using MH for all of his bs

Yes there is an open assault on conservatives freedom of speech big tech censorship is in full motion

You need to understand a couple of things:

    1) the first amendment only means the government can’t stop you from saying stuff. Doesn’t mean people have to listen to you.

    2) Twitter, Muthead, facebook and any other private entity can set codes of conduct and whatever restrictions they want that you agree to in order to use their platform. It’s not censorship, it’s on you to either agree to the rules or go elsewhere.

Just because Mueller isn’t recommending charges doesn’t mean he’s not reporting on major wrongdoing. He believes the same as justice department policy against indicting a sitting president, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t lay out a bunch of shit to charge trump with as soon as he’s out of office or to impeach.

No need for anyone outside of the military to have an automatic weapon.

I completely agree with this. I fully support the 2nd amendment, but military grade weapons should not be available on the streets for just your average joe to be able to purchase. We receive extensive training on these weapons and they’re only accessible to us when we go to war.

Just for sake of clarification, owning an automatic weapon in the US legally is incredibly difficult and expensive, and there are major penalties for having them with out the proper licenses.  This admin has also pushed to ban what Stephen paddock used in the Vegas shooting to mimic automatic fire rates as well.

It took the administration over a year to issue the ban on bump stocks. A YEAR.  NZ took less than a week to ban semi automatics.

And yes, automatic weapons are to get, but semi automatic are basically everywhere.

As bad as this sounds, it basically takes an act of god to implement change ( I mean, kids are being killed at an alarming rate and there is little to no motion.)  I am honestly surprised he went through with the bump stock ban.  The NRA is so embroiled in our politics and our country is so divided on these issues that we can never make any headway on it.  Plus, Namith is right, it is really hard regulate something that has gone out of control in some aspects.

Yeah it has, but why just give up? The NRA has oversized power for what they are and who they represent.  Gun owners have continued to go downwards since the 70s.  It's like money, a small select few have the largest percentage of guns.  The stat that is tossed out there is 3% of gun owners own 50% of the guns in america, while 20-30% of Americans own guns.

I don't think throwing our hands up in the air and saying it's too late to do anything is the way to go.  Change can happen.

Kind of crazy that it's been since the 70s, since thats when there was a "revolt" among conservative NRA members after it had previously supported a federal gun control act. ever since then it's become more and more defensive against any and all perceived restrictions on gun use.

With regard to the comments that the US. constitution protects an individual right to firearms, simply put, the very idea of that is a new concept. The second amendment specifies access to weapons as part of the need for a WELL REGULATED MILITIA. That does not mean any gung ho civilian...

    Quote from SpartanSteel66 >>

I originally quit drinking all hot beverages with caffeine in March of 2017.  Reason: my three year old held up a white gum ball and compared it to my teeth.  When I asked him if my teeth were white, he shock his head in a no direction.  That triggered it even though I wasn’t a heavy coffee drinker.

The first week of quitting was bad.  The only major withdrawal I had was those brutal headaches that came around 4 PM. No amount of Tylenol or aspirin would help.

Two years later, I have not cut out caffeine completely but my intake is very low.  I have re-started drinking Greek coffee but only if I wake up on a weekend with a tension headache due to my neck issues (so worse case, around two times a month).  But I have not touched a coffee or tea with caffeine that you can buy and/or make at home from Starbucks, Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts etc. since my 2017 decision.  Even the smell of coffee doesn’t bother me any more.

The thing is that I don’t have any of those withdrawal headaches from drinking Greek coffee sparingly.  However, I refuse to drink those commercial coffees ever again due to those withdrawal headaches.  There is something in those coffee’s that get you hooked like a drug.

In the end, I feel better as a result by cutting down on caffeine.

Caffeine is an extremely addictive drug, it's why people go through withdrawal when going cold turkey.

If you're already going cold turkey, power through it. Every year ahead of yom kippur (a 25 hour TOTAL fast) I would always scale back my caffeine for weeks ahead of time to avoid the symptoms. If you werent already going cold turkey, i'd suggest scaling back over weeks. such as cutting your intake in half, then taht in half, then that in half etc till its so minor that you just stop.

On the very bright side, the cat was probably trying to either:

    1) be a good kitty and present you with a trophy it found.

    2) warn you that if you get on its bad side, you may end up like that mouse.
