I imagine she got close to 50% of the total assets, with him gaining the control of the companies. she was with him from the start of amazon and one of its first employees. If she had wanted the company, she'd have had the leverage to keep half of their interest in it.

A rare high profile divorce that seems to have been settled amicably. Don't see those too often nowadays.

I know very little of the marriage. Did Bezos cheat? Was it just a mutual thing where they decided to no longer go on with the marriage?

Tabloid rumors of him having an affair. Not much else. But they both presented their divorce publicly and together.... and now seem to have split and finalized it publicly and together. Maybe they're just putting on a front to keep it good for business.. or maybe they really did just drift apart.. still much better than most divorces nowadays.

I'm willing to wager they were separated and tabloids saw him with his new partner, and assumed it was an affair. There's a whole thing about him calling out the national enquirer's owner for threatening to extort him. https://www.vox.com/technology/2019/2/7/18216281/jeff-bezos-medium-national-enquirer-ami-pecker-release-dick-pic

What was the name of the family that lives in the Ironwood Forest? And what does their family produce?

Hmm I don't believe this wasn't brought up in the show and only in the books ?

The TellTale game series, Houses Forrester and Whitehill. bitter enemies.

same idk why people think vaping is cool

it's definitely the new smoking...i guess they think it if you're only horking down nicotine and not the smoke from the burning paper they'll not die from it. I've read studies indicating that it increases chances for throat issues and it happens quicker

I recall reading that a vaping catridge has more nicotine per session than a cigarette per session (assuming someone smokes one at a time), the equivalent time vaping is more. Wouldnt be surprised if either nicotine or the chemicals in the cartridge are found to be carcinogenic. which TRULY begs teh question of why people insist on consuming nicotine.

I never understood why anyone relatively young ever picked up a nicotine habit until my freshman year of college. all the frat guys smoked and so the pledges took it up, and then the cycle continued. Made me honestly relieved I had changed dorm rooms before my room-mate had picked it up, else I'd have had to move out on very short notice. the smell makes me very nauseous but I respect others' right to do what they want.

Breitbart isn't even close to a pretend news source. It should be labeled as satire....

We have shiny Scyther! He is one of my all time favorites so I'm excited for his shiny version.

When this bug event was announced I was hoping Scyther was the shiny add but wasn't sure because even tho he was on the cover of the announcement, they had Oddish on the last announcement and we got Solrock and Lunatone instead.

Thats awesome. Im a completionist so honestly i wish they'd cool it with these events, I need a break to manage my storage.

The wrong way would be to replace movies with things like Fantastic 4, the last stand, origins: Wolverine, Spiderman 3, the amazing spider-man series, electra....

     Got me there Laughing

IMO, the good non-MCU films: The blade trilogy (at least 1 and 2). Spider-man 1-2 (2 was imo one of the best super hero movies period pre MCU). X-Men 1,2, First Class, Wolverine, Days of Future Past, Logan, Deadpool 1-2.

And if we go into Marvel's imprint: Kick-Ass, Kingsman series, MIB.

I got tickets for Saturday (2 after release) Sad everything was sold out before. The new trailer is god damn amazing. April is going to be slow and grudging. May have to start that Marvel Rewatch like you Colton to pass some time.

You're running out of time lol. I enjoy doing the long marathons leading up to a movie like this.

Just rewatched Winter Soldier. im trying a new thematic/chronologic order. Capt 1, Iron 1, Iron 2, Hulk, Thor 1, Avengers, Thor 2, GOTG 1 and 2, Iron Man 3, Winter Soldier, Age of ULtron, Ant Man, Civil War, Panther, Homecoming, Ant and Wasp, Strange, Ragnarok, Infinity War.

First time I did an entire re-watch I did it chronologically like that. I think I prefer release order more though.

I like release order too, but this is definitely interesting in that it sets up some things nicely. i.e. we get a cosmic and loki arc early that set the stage for time to have passed so tony builds all his suits by Iron man 3. we get a falcon arc to introduce and elevate him. we get the two direct follow-ups to civil war right after civil war, and then we get a stephen strange arc that includes the direct prologue to infinity war. the only difficulty is Ant and Wasp 2 because the movie is distinctly pre-Infinity, but the post credits is during.

Here is a link to blexit for those interested

    https://www.blexitmn.org

Yea that’s blexitmn brother not to be confused with the movement

    https://blexit.com/

Not really the one I posted was the original blexit that was founded 3 years ago to address the econamic issues surrounding the black community it is based in Minnesota.

Meanwhile, Magaveli's site looks like quite a sham. ALWAYS question a source, especially when the source attempts to obscure who it is and who funds it. that second blexit link says nothing under its "about" for who it is.

Edit: and it was documented last year that Russian botnets have helped amplify the "blexit" campaign, indicating its just part of the divisive strategy.
