In Madden19 they introduced player specific emotions, for example Ray Lewis and his signature dance. You can clearly see notice the difference. And the point of the names is the whole point of being a Football fan and not just a gamer.
I would like more than a Flashback card. I think those types of cards are great for beginners with less coins, but for those who play the game enough to earn coins ( or those who buy coins ) to be able to level up players they love.
Maybe EA should give players options to level up any player they truly like, like how they have Captains.
Let me clarify, when I say current, I just mean more recent players in the last 20-30 years not 30+ years ago.
As for mentioning Dez, his highest card is 81...i'm pretty sure he's played at a higher level than 81...i would say at least 90 for his prime years with Romo. And speaking of Romo, he's not even in MUT is my point.
I am 41, and I just thought this game is geared more for kids, with the adults like us who are football fans....but even I won't know any players that are beyond 30+ years, why would I want them on my team just based on ratings?
I want players I can associate with. Lets keep the cards gap from 1980 and above.
Exactly my point...i rather fill my roster with a current great player...instead I have Ray Nitschke at MLB, when I rather have a more current MLB with high ratings. I think the only current higher than 95 MLB is Luck Kuechly...no Bobby Wagner, C.J Mosley, Zach Brown, Olgetree ...etc.
I'm also not saying there are not many high cards with current greats, but i wish they gave you more options than for example Josh Norman, you cant get a 91 then the next up is a 97. Or even the highest card for Baker Mayfield is a 91!
If they are not going to make high current players, at least give us them in power ups!
I was merely naming good current players, and it just happen a few are Cowboy's players as they did win 3 SB, Aikman, Emmitt and Irvin, in which none are in MUT19.....and I agree Elway is a great card as I use his 99 card....but guys like Paul Krause. Even though there are only few really older players, it takes away from being able to have the more recent one....like John Lynch, Dat Nguyen, Teddy Bruschi...etc....
