BoJack Horseman was the star of the hit TV show "Horsin' Around" in the 90's, now he's washed up, living in Hollywood, complaining about everything, and wearing colorful sweaters.
This show is different from other animated comedies in that it tackles emotions that everybody goes through such as family problems, depression, alcohol abuse, relationships, and how people handle all those different emotions. It's a comedy but has lots of emotion to it and even darkness.
A group of never-do-well forest rangers are facing the shutdown of their National Park when a new ranger arrives to help transform them and save the park.
This show is just ridiculous in it's stories but it provides humor that other shows don't give. It's nothing that's going to blow you away but it'll give you some laughs. It's an adult animation with an emphasis on adult.
The story behind Detective James Gordon's rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman's arrival.
I really like this show because it's shot in a noir type way. It's about a young Bruce Wayne and Jim Gordon as a detective. Despite being a "super hero" show it's more of a detective show rather than focusing on heroes. It's one of the few DC things that I like and I highly recommend it even if you aren't into "super hero" stuff.
The personal and professional life of Dev, a 30-year-old actor in New York.
This show just feels so real as it talks about relationships and every day problems. The 2nd season is one of the funniest seasons of any show I have ever seen.
A gangster family epic set in 1919 Birmingham, England and centered on a gang who sew razor blades in the peaks of their caps, and their fierce boss Tommy Shelby, who means to move up in the world.
Based on the real gang, the show shows the rise of the Peaky Blinders. It's a crime show but if focuses on the guys committing the crime as opposed to the guys trying to stop them. It's quite good and gets better as the seasons go on.
Kevin Hart and other celebrities play a comic fictionalized version of themselves in this parody of similarly named reality shows. Episodes often feature Kevin Hart's attempts to gain celebrity and his jealousy of his friends.
This show is a parody on the Real Wives shows. All the characters are real celebrities who play themselves just in an extreme comedy version of themselves. Just imagine a Kevin Hart parody of Real Wives and you know what the show is about. It's pretty funny and I recommend it if you're looking for a silly comedy to watch.
After being struck by lightning, Barry Allen wakes up from his coma to discover he's been given the power of super speed, becoming the Flash, fighting crime in Central City.
Another one of the few DC shows that I really like. It's more of a light type super hero show with lots of comedy but it also has it's moments of darkness and questioning if the characters are doing the right things. Arrow and The Flash go together a lot so this is the show that balances all the darkness in Arrow with light and comedy.
A brilliant and charismatic, yet psychotic serial killer communicates with other active serial killers and activates a cult of believers following his every command.
This is one of the few shows on networks such as FOX that I really enjoyed. It's a crime series but instead of detectives trying to solve a crime it follows FBI agents and their attempt to catch a serial killer and his cult followers. I thought it did a good job at showing how someone can become obsessed with catching someone and how a criminal can become obsessed with beating the people chasing him.
Hundreds of years from now, surviving humans discover how to send consciousness back through time, into people of the 21st century, while attempting to save humanity from a terrible future.
A solid show that I hope becomes successful and gets several seasons. They try to save the future and through the season they see how little things they do vastly alters the future they're from. If you like sci-fi then you'll probably like this show. Something unusual about this show is that it's a Canadian show but was bought by Netflix and is considered a Netflix show. It airs weekly in Canada though and after the season is over Netflix streams the whole season.
Follow the Murphy family back to the 1970s, when kids roamed wild, beer flowed freely and nothing came between a man and his TV.
A Netflix adult animation that is written by the great comedian Bill Burr. The show is based in the 70s and is so real for that time period. From the every day events, to the language, types of people, and threats that parents used on their children. I find it really funny because my dad acts so much like the main character for the most part and it's because he grew up in the late 70s and 80s. It's quite funny, especially if you grew up in that period or your parents did because you see such a resemblance from the show to the way you or your parents act.
Have you watched Mindhunter yet? They are pushing it pretty hard and seems like something I would like just haven't had time to watch it yet.
Once I got all caught up I planned on talking about it. I've seen 3 episodes so far and it's already a 9 for me. I've studied criminal psychology and wanted to work in the BSU and this show shows how it all got started and how/why they started studying killers. Prior to the BSU doing these studies all killers were just frenzied or lust killers and that's all there was to it. This show is about how they learned that there was much much more to it and how you could study behavior to predict and and stop serial killers. It's very historically accurate and it's all about the psychology and I absolutely love that about it. The acting is just spot on as well. The actors portraying the killers do a fantastic job and they just give you chills and show how easy it is to be disgusted yet like and feel for the killer at the same time and it helps you understand how these people were eventually conditioned to hate certain people and that's what led to the killing.
I know that was a lot but I love this show so far and can't stop talking about it. It's not getting the recognition I think it deserves.
Awesome I enjoy stuff like that as well I will have to check it out. I just finished the Manhunt Unabomber show sounds like something you would like if you haven't watched it yet.
Sheila and Joel are married real estate agents in Santa Clarita, California. When Sheila dies, their lives take a dark turn.
As of now I have this show as a 7 but it has the potential to reach a 9 after a couple seasons. Joel(the husband/dad) is the realest character I have ever seen in my life. His reactions to all the craziness are spot on and hilarious. So often in zombie stuff you see people shrug things off like it's no big deal but he freaks out and screams and just loses his cool and the most funny ways possible and it feel real. Most of your zombie stuff is gonna be horror but this is a comedy that focuses on what if someone started to turn into a zombie but was keeping their humanity. Definitely watch this show and watch it grow into one of the top comedies on Netflix.
Centers around comedian Rob Schneider's real life while living in Hollywood.
It's more of a comedy on Rob Schneider's life as opposed to a stick to the facts show. It's funny and enjoyable but it's nothing that's going to blow you away.
Obsessed with the disappearance of a 12-year-old pregnant girl near a freezing lake in New Zealand, a brave detective will find herself up against small-town secrets and a side of herself that was meticulously kept at bay.
This show has a lot of twists and will leave you questioning who the "bad guy" is up until the very end. It was a mini-series and was only planned for one season but it is doing a follow up season that is supposed to air in 2017. That's why their is such a huge gap from season 1(2013) to season 2(2017).
Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp(2015)-6.5
Follows the counselors and campers on their first day at Camp Firewood in the summer of 1981.
The show shows what happened during the preparation for the first day of camp. It's basically like a tv prequel to the cult classic, Wet Hot American Summer. All of the main cast returns to take back their roles so it's a very star studded cast. If you liked the movie then you should definitely check out this show.
The trials and tribulations of criminal lawyer, Jimmy McGill, in the time leading up to establishing his strip-mall law office in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
I originally thought this was BETTER than Breaking Bad(until I re-watched Breaking Bad). It shows Saul Goodman as Jimmy McGill which is before he became the scumbag lawyer that we all know. It really develops his character and shows how he turned into the person he was on Breaking Bad. I highly highly recommend this show, even if you're not a Breaking Bad fan although it does help.

When the show first started to come out I thought it was about a legit diet that was going to be something crazy that rich people in California were doing. Then I saw the trailer and realized I was completely wrong and that I had to watch this show.
Finished The Defenders last night and forgot to add it. It was pretty good but I almost got real angry at the end. I don't want to post spoilers for those that haven't seen it but I was on the verge of going ballistic.
Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist team up to fight crime in New York City.
I thought it was pretty solid. They could've used a bit more back story so more people would understand it. DareDevil was solid as usual but the rest of the characters were okay. It's supposed to be like the small screen version of The Avengers and I think it did a good job of living up to that. It is just a collaboration of the other 4 shows so they probably won't make very many seasons of it and when they do it'll like be around 4 years between seasons. It's a really good super hero show but you have to watch the other 4 shows before you watch this one.
