I read the apparent 'leaks' online for the final episode.. if true, this thread is literally going to burn to the ground LMAO. Can't wait!
I read them before Ep 5 and considering they were all 100% accurate about that episode it's obviously gonna be right for Ep 6 too, it's not hard to predict anyway, many of us have mentioned how we think it's gonna end. As I said, one last wtf moment to make the ending even more bitter.

"That’s the thing about unhappiness. All it takes is for something worse to come along… and you realize it was actually happiness after all."
Same same. Was really surprised when he was killed.
Me too man, book Barristan is still around the actor was actually shocked when he heard he was being killed off as a avid reader of the books himself. Apparently he wrote a letter to D&D about how he disagreed with the decision and they later joked it only made them want to kill him off more. Such a shame was just reading an excerpt about him that gave me chills talking about Roberts Rebillion and the Mountains butchering of Rhaegals family, wiki sums it up well:
”Barristan Selmy has been haunted by the "bloody bodies" of Aegon and Rhaenys. His serious injuries following the Battle of the Trident prevented him from examining the corpses, but he has wondered for years whether Robert smiled at the bodies. Barristan concludes that such a smile would have led him to kill Robert, and that no army could have saved him.”
"Tbh I never really cared much bout the innocents"
I'm just gonna pretend he died in the Battle of Winterfell
Gods they absolutely ruined Jaime and Tyrion ffs
The scene between Tyrion and Jaime in the tent was one of the best mini dialogues this season, and maybe the entire show. Hit home for me.
I loved it apart from that one line. Literally just forgets about Jaime's whole arc.
He’s never really cared about innocents though, at least imo. Saying it and meaning it are two different things.
But that's really one of the major reasons he killed the Mad King. Absolutely ruined his honor and public perception. One of the best scenes in the show imo is the pool scene with Brienne, and it's just ruined by that one line which really wasn't even needed. He had a clear and awesome character arc and none of it really mattered in the end.
Guess those big bucks from Star Wars got D&D to phone it in this season.
