This is not a very good SC team for MOST players. You have your cap spread between way too many players. You will have guys on the bench taking up cap. SC is generally best played when using a minimum number of players so the cap can be maximized by making the guys on the field the best they can be. While this can make for less versatility, it also makes it easier to try to compete vs guys that max out their starters. Example: you have 4 LBers and not 1 is fast enough to guard a TE or RB. You also have 4 DL and 6-7 guys in secondary.
Got to agree with both of these guys; the lineup overall doesn't have much that stands out. It's also hard when you're working with a budget. But there are ways to circumvent that -- power ups, any nat cards you might have, etc.
There are only 4 cards that I really like in the squad, though: TOTW Hilton, Combine Josh Jones, TB Breida and Combine Gesicki. I like Hilton as your slot WR, and the other three are fantastic cap options; but they'll only get you so far. Like cowlip said, many players are going to optimize their lineups with a few star players, and with the cap @ 1175, there will be spots you can essentially tank to make more room for those top cards.
I went ahead and made a revised lineup which you can see here: Revised Lineup
This version is only a starting point, and you can roll with it and/or adjust to your needs and budget. Hopefully with this you can get some ideas to get the best team you can on the field.
Here are my notes:
Hilton, Jones, Breida, Gesicki, your kicker and punter, and both flex position cards are the only ones that carry over from you OP lineup to this one.
Since you said that you base out of singleback doubles and y-trips, I removed the unnecessary higher cap 2nd TE in favor of a 10 cap one. You'll only want to spend more cap on another TE if you plan on using 2 TE sets, which I don't suspect you'll want to do.
I tried to give you a good WR1 who can be another player you can high point pass to within your budget. Monster Megatron is a great option here IMO. I wouldn't worry about his low 90s speed.
Combine Goodwin at your WR2 is again another good cap option. Great speed and good catching stats. I also put in a 10 cap WR as you WR4, no reason to waste cap space on a player who won't see the field.
Your entire oline are powered up only until they unlock the physical chem slot. The trend with SC is to tank the oline with the high use of shed defenses. You can use the play fake chem to boost pass block and PBP if you're worried about there low stats. Did the same with your DTs.
Regarding the dline, if you know about shed defense then you don't have to spend much cap here either. I gave you Power Up Bosa which will get you 90+ finesse move so he can win at the line better.
I optimized your defense to be able to switch between Nickel Normal and Big Nickel Over G. You desperately needed faster DBs, the only one who had decent speed was Jones. The rest of your secondary as it is in the lineup should be in your budget range, and they have enough coverage stats and speed to keep up w/ opposing WRs who are no doubt going to be boosted by Sprinter chem.
I tanked your LOLB for 10 cap to make room for improving your ROLB and MLB. You can user both Bucannon and Oluokun. If you ever find your self in a base 4-3 formation, just remember that the LOLB spot is the weak spot on the field.
TOTW Josh Allen is a great card, and I can live with the lower deep accuracy in favor of 97 Throw power (98 if you decide to go for his full power up) He has enough speed to scramble out with, too.
I have remade my team and added some players that were suggested. I am running out of SingleBack Ace, Deuce Close, and Wingslot out of Pats Playbook. I changed offensive scheme to be a more run heavy team. My RB is the LT I got out of the madden challenge solos but could not find in the database so its not the ultimate legend. I tried to tank more spots, I did boost my LOLB a little because I do come out in the 46 defense and wanted a little beef at that position. I know I should not have spent so much salary on two TEs but they have to be able to block and receive the ball. I don't come out in the Big Nickel G, I just use 4-3,46, Normal Nickel, and Dime packages. Would appreciate any criticism.
