If you use Google Chrome browser, there should be any problems using the dropdown (by clicking arrow next to player's name), but it does take about 5 seconds for it to run all of the calculations and update the stats to show you that player.
If you use Internet Explorer, when you change a player, it will hang forever saying it's recalculating. The solution is to REFRESH BROWSER after changing a player and then it will calculate and update stats!
I have now removed the "AdjustOVR" tab from every version because it's no longer helpful, as you'll see in next topic!
After the past 18 or so months of me trying to reverse engineer how EA calculates PlayerOVR, TeamOVR, OffenseOVR, DefenseOVR, SpecialTeamsOVR .... and me continually tweaking my formulas to give closer and closer ESTIMATES of these values .... I BELIEVE WE HAVE COMPLETELY CONQUERED IT .... Meaning NO MORE ESTIMATING!!
Huge Thanks go out to Alfonsorod2003, FJLJJLOL, & especially NathanJM0 who was the guy to actually figure out the precise formula for how each card's individual PlayerOVR is calculated. His thread is here:
His formula works for every single card in the game for calculating it's UNBOOSTED STANDARD PlayerOVR.
But now I deal with BoostedOVR's, so I applied his formula to what I do and it appears to be working so far! Next quirk is figuring out how this translates to Team, Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. For months I've known that the quirks in how/when TeamOVR changes is due to how EA rounds it's values, but I wasn't seeing the forest through the trees, until I saw Nathan's formula and it dawned on me to just round down my resulting BoostedOVR, add up the players OVR's, and divide by the number of players ... like this:
A few of my "99 Problems" league friends have been playing with lineups for the last 24+ hours since I updated the spreadsheets and this appears to be working perfectly on every single test so far!
Now for the icing on the cake, I give to you all what should be the first 104 OVR TEAM (found by Amokmaker in my league). We haven't tested it yet ingame, but I'm pretty sure this is going to do it. There's a couple other OT's, WR's, LB's which are interchangable with this, but the rest seems necessary until more new cards come out.
Ash, you and your guys are genius's! Thanks for the work you put in on this. So helpful to so many of us in the community. Sean Taylor looks like the most OP player in the game now. Finally dethroning Dom Gronk.
